Our history
Established September 2000
With over 40 years (present day, 17 at the time) of mediumship experience, spiritual counseling, reading tarot cards, strong energy and clairvoyant occurrences, and her vast knowledge on spiritual wellness, Tami Jones decided to set out on her own business journey and founded Psychic Amarillo in 2000 as a sole proprietorship. Her goal in doing so was to help provide guidance, connection, and support to those in need by offering help using her skills surrounding spiritual mediumship and other kinds of spiritual/metaphysical connections. Starting out as a very small business, she's fortunately had the opportunity to grow her following and brand, and was even able to take on a bunch of new friends along the way.
Expanding Our Family
Psychic Amarillo's first expansion began with Tami's daughter Tara joining the team as a Tarot Card Reader in October of 2021. Right after, business would soon start taking off more progressively as Tami would start to gain more recognition for her blogs and high ratings as a medium. As things started to look brighter for Psychic Amarillo, Alakia of Lakesview would join the family a year and a half later in March 2023 as a Spiritual Medium and Intuitive Blind Reader and soon after that, Psychic Amarillo would experience it's largest expansion to date. With April from August Moon Tarot joining as a medium, Tami's granddaughter Tabitha Johnson joining as her Personal Assistant and Office Manager, and Bam Buchanan signing on to be Psychic Amarillo's Lead Graphic Designer and Director of Social Media Marketing, this new found potential would help the business preform the best it ever has.
Of the rapid and tremendous growth, Tami says, "I have been fighting bringing on any other readers besides myself for many, many years because I feared no one could provide for my clients the same care, time, energy and attention that I do. I finally had no choice but to bite the bullet and ask for help, so I VERY slowly began to hand-pick some extra special people whom I would trust with my own readings. There will be precious few, if any, others."
